Community Service

Community service activities play a major role in the college applications as they want students who make their mark within their community both in and out of school. Whether it’s volunteering at a homeless shelter or teaching underprivileged youth, the opportunities are endless when it comes to offering a helping hand to give back to those in need. We work closely with our students to discover new opportunities as well as encourage them to take initiative in their communities, where they may find it both fulfilling and rewarding in their endeavors.

In addition, we help our students apply to prestigious awards for high school students such as the President’s Volunteer Service Award or Congressional Volunteering Award based on the number of hours of community involvement. Through the AdmissionSight program, we guide students through different ways they can make an impact within their communities, which will continue to boost their extracurricular standing in the applications.

More importantly, we guide students on how to present these volunteering activities in the application to show the applicant in a positive light and delve deep into their experiences, which is the cornerstone of our process. We’ve always said that you are only as good as you are on paper when it comes to college admissions, and how to demonstrate both your initiative, genuine concern for the community, and desire to help through the college applications is a critical piece of the puzzle.
