Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve answered the questions we get asked the most about college admissions—so you don’t have to wait.

The Senior Editor College Application Program is our most popular flagship program where we work closely with students on their college applications at the conclusion of the junior year and lasting until application submission. Our accomplished, highly trained team of Senior Consultants are former Ivy League graduates, award winning journalists and writers, and trained the AdmissionSight way of crafting together powerful personal statements and college application essays to win the hearts of the admissions officers. Our students’ applications stand heads and shoulders among the pack, captivating the admissions officers and presenting your profile in the most meaningful way possible.

Our services include comprehensive and deep dive essay editing for the common application and supplemental school specific essays, academic and extracurricular strategy and development, strategizing school list and early action/decision choices, full review of the Common App prior to submission, and practice interview preparation and letter of recommendation strategy. By the time you’re through, you’ll have an incredible, polished application to present to the admissions committee.

Since we only take a limited number of spots per year, we work with a total of 40 seniors. Roughly 75%, or 3 out of every 4 students, will get into a Top 10 school or Ivy League school assuming a baseline of 3.9 unweighted GPA, 1550+ on the SAT’s, and 5’s on at least 5-6 AP exams by the conclusion of junior year.
