From summer program selection to deep dive essay editing, the student will receive comprehensive, detailed essay editing and guidance for up to 5 summer program applications, including but not limited to math and science, humanities and writing programs, and research programs for competitive high school students. 

Prestigious summer programs are well known by college admissions officers and can improve the student’s academic and extracurricular standing. We make recommendations on summer programs to apply to based on your academic interests and profile, and perform deep dive edits to help you craft polished essays to increase your odds for admission.

RSI brings together about 75 high school students each summer for six stimulating weeks at MIT.

Simons in Stonybrook

Hands-on research in science, math or engineering at Stony Brook University with ~5% acceptance rate

Garcia Summer Scholars

7-week research program on polymer science and technology with Garcia faculty and staff.

Summer Science Program (SSP)

7-week research program on astrophysics or biochemistry

Boston University RISE

6 weeks at BU conducting university laboratory research while advancing your STEM knowledge and skills.

Stanford Institute of Medical Research (SIMR)

8-week biological sciences and medicine for high school students

Iowa Young Writer's Studio

Intensive creative writing program for high school students with 2 week residential or 6 week online options

Stanford Humanities Institute (SHI)

3-week humanities program for rising high school juniors and seniors

BA, Harvard University
Leon is a Senior Consultant at AdmissionSight and has deep experience helping students craft together powerful personal statements for college admissions, summer program applications, transfer admissions, and graduate school admissions. In addition, Leon helps guide students to develop their personal qualities and extracurricular “hook” through spellbinding writing techniques. Leon graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English (highest honors) from Harvard University where he was also a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and earned his MFA in Creative Writing from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop.
