The AdmissionSight Chances Calculator provides an overall view of where you stand relative to other students across the country. The scoring rubric is as follows:

4.5 or higher - competitive for the Top 5 schools in Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT (HYPSM)

4 or higher - competitive for the Top 10 schools including the Ivy Leagues, Stanford, MIT, and UChicago

3 or higher - competitive for the Top 25-30 schools in the country. Apply early to a Top 15-20 school.

2 or higher - competitive for the Top 50 schools in the country

1 or higher - competitive for the Top 100 schools in the country

Keep in mind that no chances calculator is perfect given there are intangibles at play such as letters of recommendation, interview, and most importantly the personal statements and essays. The purpose of the chances calculator is to provide a rough idea of where you stand relative to all of the other students across the country.
