Limited spots weekly. No pressure — just real insight into how we can help.
At AdmissionSight, there are two pathways toward working us: the standard pathway via the Senior Editor College Application Program, or the Private Consulting Program.
In the standard pathway, we start with a 1.5-2 hour Academic and Extracurricular Profile Evaluation where the student gains time-tested strategies on how to boost their raw profile to the admissions committee. After the evaluation, the student may engage with us with help on on any of the action items including but not limited to: summer program applications, SAT/AP tutoring, Olympiad training, humanities and writing competitions, or our 12-week Science Research Program. In the senior year, the student works with us on college applications in the Senior Editor College Application Program.
In the Private Consulting Program, the student will work directly with the founder and private college admissions consultant Eric Eng on how to navigate the college admissions process. We meet monthly for our consultations over Zoom to strategize ways to improve the student’s academic and extracurricular standing as well as unlimited email correspondences. In addition, Eric Eng will edit all essay drafts of summer program applications and college applications during the student’s senior year. Finally, Eric Eng edit papers to scientific research and humanities based competitions.
At AdmissionSight, we are experts who understand you, your needs and your strengths and weaknesses, which ensures not only your success but a comfortable working environment throughout the application process.
For earlier grades such as freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, our process involves mapping out a strategic academic and extracurricular roadmap for the student to enhance their “raw profile or stats”. In addition, we conduct deep essay editing for highly competitive summer programs, assist with SAT/AP tutoring, Olympiad training, humanities based competitions, science research programs, and admissions strategy. Students who start with us earlier tend to perform better overall in the college admissions process, ramping up their academic and extracurricular profile before it’s too late.
The senior year is the most involved as we begin work on the college application itself – the personal statements, supplemental essays, common application review, recommendation letters, interviews, and supplemental material. At AdmissionSight, we ensure the student crafts together spellbinding college essays and may add supplementary material on top of the application to give the student an edge in the process. This has always been the heart of our process.
We work with our students through Zoom, phone consultations, and email and have clients throughout the country as well as internationally in Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, India, and many others. Please send an email to [email protected] or reach out through the contact form for more information about our program.
We cover all grounds when it comes to the college admissions process to help our students flourish and thrive in the highly competitive college admissions process. Here is a full list of our programs and offerings:
At AdmissionSight, we are experts with the college application. In this day and age when there are tens of thousands of students with strong GPA, test scores, regional/national competitions, and impressive leadership and community service activities to boast, you need a strong application to stand out. We’re extremely detailed in our process and focus on every aspect that can make your application compete with the country’s best and brightest.
First and foremost, we concentrate our efforts on the essays, which can take numerous back and forth drafts to complete. The essay is your opportunity to share your story with the admissions officers and show your personal qualities outside of your raw accomplishments. In addition, we focus on extracurricular activities, common application entries, recommendation letters, supplemental material (research papers, art work, extracurricular activity sheets), additional information section, summer programs, and interviews.
At AdmissionSight, we analyze the entire application prior to submission to ensure it is perfect and has maximized your chances of admission given the student’s talents and academic standing.
Our success rate is unprecedented. On average, our clients with 3.9+ unweighted GPA, 1550+ SAT, 780+ SAT Subject Tests have been accepted to at least an Ivy League or top university. On average, roughly 75% of our students were accepted to Ivy League or top 10 universities. Nearly 98% of our students have been accepted to one of their top choice schools. While this is by no means guaranteed, this type of acceptance rate is unprecedented.
For students who don’t meet this academically, the odds of getting in are lower, but still remarkably strong, and we evaluate that on a case by case basis. Past performance, however, may not be indicative of future results given the highly competitive nature of college admissions.
At AdmissionSight, there’s only two criteria that we require for a student to work with us – hard work and motivation. These are by far the most important credentials – a student needs to want to succeed in order for us to help them. At AdmissionSight, we take the application very seriously, so it’s important that the student shares the same philosophy.
In the Senior Editor College Application Program, our highly trained Senior Consultants consisting of journalists and writers will be editing the essays and reviewing the applications for our students. In addition, the student may enroll in the one-time, 1.5-2 hour Academic and Extracurricular Profile Evaluation. After that evaluation, the student may engage with us for help on summer program applications, science research, SAT/ACT/AP tutoring, Olympiad training, humanities based competitions, as well as college applications during the senior year.
In the Private Consulting Program, the student meets with Eric Eng quarterly and unlimited access to email and phone, which ranges anywhere between 80-150 email correspondences in any given year. Eric Eng will be personally reviewing and editing all of the student’s essays to both summer programs and college applications to increase their odds of success. There is a tremendous degree of guidance involved, including assistance with science research, humanities based competitions, and academic and extracurricular strategy. The Private Consulting Program includes everything except for SAT/AP/Olympiad private tutoring, which is billed separately.
Absolutely. At AdmissionSight, we work with our students through Skype, phone consultations, and email and have clients throughout the country as well as internationally in Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, India, and the UK, among others.
That’s OK. We’ve helped several students with subpar SAT scores and GPA accepted into the Ivy League (think 1180 SAT, 3.3 GPA caliber), although this happens at a lower probability. One thing that you should understand about college admissions is that it isn’t all about grades and scores. Extracurricular activities and common application essays play a huge role when it comes to getting in, especially for the Ivy League and other top universities.
At AdmissionSight, we’re especially proud of our work in this regard – getting students in based on our deep expertise with the application. Our process is highly effective, and we’d be happy to walk you through a free initial consultation to demonstrate our work.
At AdmissionSight, we work with transfers and international students. Getting into an Ivy League as a transfer or international student is even tougher as the competition is more fierce with a very limited number of slots. However, with a stellar application and personal statement, we’re able to help our students really flush out their personal qualities and unique experiences on paper to get them in.
In addition, we help with graduate school admissions and our success rates continue to be top notch. We’ve placed students in the Stanford Master’s in CS program, Harvard Business School, USC Keck School of Medicine, and even helped undergraduates qualify as Rhodes and Marshall Scholarship Finalists.
We would start by having a free initial phone consultation to learn more about the program. You may reach us by phone, email, or the contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please contact us for further details at [email protected] and request for the brochure.
