When Is the Georgetown Application Deadline?

Georgetown releases Spring 2027 transfer decisions on December 1, and admitted students reply by December 15. For Fall 2027, decisions come by June 1, and the reply date is June 15.

Juniors applying to the A.B. in Public Policy or the B.S. in Environment & Sustainability have an earlier priority deadline of January 15, 2027. Georgetown admits those students on a rolling basis, though you can still apply through March 1. A few majors are closed to transfer applicants, including American Studies and International Business, Language, and Culture, so check the list before you choose a program.

Every transfer applicant uses the Georgetown Application as the Common App is not an option for transfers. After you submit the first part, Georgetown emails you a link to the transfer supplement, which is due on the same date as the application.

As a first-year applicant, you must submit both the FAFSA and the CSS Profile by one deadline, whether you apply EA or RD. Transfer applicants follow their own dates.
