Visual & Performing Arts

The Visual and Performing Arts can be a critical piece of the puzzle that may move the needle when it comes to college admissions. Students are encouraged to send in a supplemental portfolio of their artwork, performances, dances, and among others to showcase their talent to the admissions committee.

These college campuses are vibrant with activities such as A Capella, dance troupes, and musical performances that make the student body come to life. Both the faculty and student body appreciate this environment to get together and celebrate the special talents of students that that got them admitted in the first place. As a result, a student who is especially strong in the Visual & Performing Arts are encouraged to submit a portfolio when they apply.

At AdmissionSight, we guide our students through time tested marketing strategies to help put together a strong supplemental portfolio in their application stand out and get noticed by admissions officers. The supplemental portfolio is another critical piece of information that admissions officers use to evaluate candidates and judge their special talents, and can sway the odds significantly in your favor if the right cards are played. We work with our students closely on this aspect and is another lever that could get their foot into those Ivy gates.
