You might have noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a direct correlation between the number of applicants and the acceptance rate. That may be because the number of students they accept depends on the slots available.

How to Apply to UCLA Engineering

All undergraduate students have the same admissions process to enter UCLA. Here’s a quick overview of how to apply to the university:

  1. Complete the University of California (UC) application. UC campuses don’t use the Common App or Coalition. Instead, regardless of the campus you’re applying to, all undergraduate applicants must complete the online UC application.

So, if you want to be admitted into the institution, you’ll have to stand out among other applicants. Here are several ways you can boost your college application:

1. Do relevant coursework.

Choose challenging and relevant coursework throughout your high school years. Prioritize advanced mathematics and sciences courses, including AP Calculus AB, AP Physics classes, and AP Chemistry.
