How are students chosen for the NYLF?
How do students get into the NYLF? Teachers or parents nominate students to attend NYLF programs. Individuals who have not been nominated but wish to attend may do so by nominating themselves.

- Will contribute confidently to program activities and discussions

How do you apply to NYLF? To apply for an NYLF program, you must first be nominated or nominate yourself.

Getting nominated only signifies that someone believes you could be a good fit for the program; it does not entitle you to any special benefits and is not required to attend such a program. To apply, you simply need to provide some basic information about yourself and your school. After entering that information, you will be able to reserve a spot and make a deposit for the program of your choice.
After enrolling, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to a website containing all the information you need to participate in an NYLF program, such as program updates, pre-conference assignments, and a travel checklist.
